I completely used everything in the first palette that I had, so I asked for another for Christmas. All of the colors are great for me. They have a strong color payoff, so I only need a little on the brush, then blend, blend blend with a sponge. The cheek color and highlighter are great also. I am an older woman, and use a lighter touch now than when I was younger, but the colors are true and enhance my complexion and the gray hair I'm getting around my face. I'll probably go for number three when this one is gone!
I love this palette! It’s the perfect take and go palette. It has everything. My suggestion is if you aren’t getting the color to last you should use a concealer and set it as a base or a shadow primer. These colors are so vibrant. The highlighter is my favorite out there right now.
I wanted to try the Mermaid Goddess palette for quite some time, as the colors are so bold and so fun. I have sensitive skin so I often don’t have a lot of fun makeup choices so this eye palette has been a game changer. I’ve received a lot of compliments and enjoy trying different combinations. I think the colors are quite rich, can be layered for deeper hues and are blendable. I’m thrilled to have this Mermaid palette and am so glad it is from Ella & Mila. Definitely worth it!
My eye shadow maybe lasted an hour. The colors are really light, too. I suppose I thought they would have more depth without layering because of the photos. Maybe I should have tried a different palette, but I tried this one because I don’t wear a lot of makeup, have fair skin and wanted something that wasn’t too ‘bold’ but more of an every day, easy mom on the go look.. I’m pretty disappointed. I would suggest to really review the colors and chat with the company before buying. I did have some questions answered but I wish I would have invested more time and effort in researching and I did read a review stating this makeup lasts but that hasn’t been my experience.
